UK Discus Association Championships and spotted fish!

I feel that my hard work at Leicester Discus and with David Lim of Fishio Tribe is now being fully vindicated.  At the UK Discus Association Championship this year it was a real to come out with the my spotted fish earning the top 5 highest marks for spotted fish located in the UK.  This was only surmounted by one of my Scarlet Spotted taking 'Tropical World's Best Discus in the UK Award'.

New Stock

I received a new shipment in from David Lim of Fishio Tribe, the will be out of quarantine towards the end of May 2005.

The new fish include:

  • Scarlet Spotteds (the real deal),
  • Crimson Spotteds (no impostors allowed),
  • Pure Goldens (a dream come true),
  • Red-Whites (even Dougall tried to steal these from me),
  • Leopards (the one and only),
  • Rose Reds (couldn’t get sexier),
  • Golden Leopard Snakeskins (for the connoisseur)

Demand is high for these fish and once out of quarantine it will be first come first served.

All fish are 100% genuine as described and will come with a certificate of authentication.

p.s. Don't forget to come and see my stand at the UK Discus Association Show 2005

The Scarlet Spotted Saga Rages on . . .

'What's in a name'28 Novemeber 2004 034.jpg (956523 bytes)

Recently I imported quite a few of David Lim's 'Scarlet Spotted' discus into the UK and the reception and response that the fish has received has been phenomenal.  So much so that a considerable number of other importers are claiming to be selling these fish.

I can assure you that they are not.  They may indeed be selling leopard snakeskins - and some may well be of excellent shape and colour - however they simply ARE NOT of the original show winning  Scarlet Spotted line of David Lim

(I guess that the one of the highest forms of flattery is in imitation ).

What's the difference

I would suggest that the difference is:

  1. the years of development, care and attention that David has taken with this strain in order to produce quality fish after quality fish.

  2. the hard factual evidence of the international show winners that David has produced.

  3. Seeing is believing - this is a fish that NO picture can truly do justice to . . . you must really see it in all its glory.

What next

The demand for genuine scarlet spotted is very high and current requests are outstripping existing stock in many countries throughout the world.  However I have a number of these fish available to genuine discus enthusiasts and I will be visiting Singapore in the coming month to personally collect more of these fine discus, so please do contact me to arrange viewing of these fine fish.
